    Donna's Tips 2006

Finally after months of mortgage rates going up, in mid-August, they have gone down. You can now get a 30 year fixed conventional- conforming loan for less than 6.5%.  It is a great time to buy a home!

Tucson is one of the few beautiful areas of the country where you can find a nice single family house, in an active adult community, that is located on a golf course for under $300,000.  Give me a call, or e-mail me for further details.

As you ponder on how to better invest in 2006, you should give thought to the potential of a “Self- directed IRA” as a “ Real Estate IRA”.  Now you can direct your own personal real estate investment strategy for your IRA/401K so that the profits will be either tax- free or tax- deferred.  You will need a Special Asset Trustee (also known as an IRA custodian) to help you set this up.  Check out www.sterling-trust.com or www.midoh.com for further information. Consult a CPA who specializes in Self-directed IRAs for further information.
